Our offerings
YOGA HIKES
Designed to get participants outside and moving! Yoga hikes begin with a short centering and gentle movement to prepare the body before hitting the trails. Sitspot and meditation practices are woven throughout the yoga hikes, and we end with standing stretches. The hiking terrain in the Catskills varies and may be steep, but hikes are chosen so that they can be easily tackled by all levels of hikers.
FOREST IMMERSION
Our forest immersion outings are influenced by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing. In the outings, we use all of our senses as we slowly explore the forest to bridge the gap between us and the natural world. The hiking trails chosen for our forest immersions are gentle with plenty of places for participants to stop, sit, and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
